THE CATALOG

Three focused APIs.

Run on Apify. Use the results in a spreadsheet, your own software, or an AI agent.

01
AUSTIN, TEXAS · COMMERCIAL PERMITS

What is this property becoming?

Find commercial building permits that explicitly describe a change from one use to another. See the previous use, planned new use, address, and official permit link.

  • Full permit descriptions and the text supporting each change
  • Issue dates, statuses, and summary counts

Covers explicit change-of-use wording in Austin commercial building permits. A permit does not confirm a business opening or completed work.

02
CHICAGO, ILLINOIS · BUILDING PERMITS

Spot changes in use and occupancy.

Find Chicago permit descriptions with explicit changes in property use or occupancy, including commercial and residential records. See the text from the permit that supports each extracted change.

  • Previous and planned uses, with evidence quotes
  • Addresses, permit status, and summary counts

City of Chicago only. Select up to 31 days of permit issue dates per report. Results are not an exhaustive list of changes or current occupancy.

03
UNITED STATES · FDA IMPORT REFUSALS

Look up a facility’s refusal history.

Enter a facility’s FDA Establishment Identifier (FEI). Get matching records from the FDA’s 2024–current import refusal export, with refusal charge descriptions and source coverage details.

  • Exact FEI matching and decoded charge codes
  • Original records, summary counts, and retrieval details

Import refusals only. Does not check recalls, warning letters, or import alerts. No matches does not mean a supplier is cleared.

No report charge for successful queries with no matches. An authenticated Apify account and sufficient run budget are required. Current pricing and full coverage limits are on each listing.

WHAT WE ADD

The records are public.
The preparation is the product.

Government datasets are free to access. We handle the queries, extract a narrow set of useful details, and return consistent reports with the original evidence.

Every run fetches the publisher’s current data and processes it with fixed Python rules. No LLM calls are used to produce these reports. Source updates can lag events, and downloaded reports remain snapshots.

Collection failures are reported as errors, rather than passed off as successful searches with no matches.

FOR AGENTS & DEVELOPERS

Use the same tools
from your workflow.

Each listing includes input fields, output documentation, examples, and API access. Connect an agent through Apify’s MCP server, or call the Actor through the Apify API.

For Austin and Chicago, empty input uses the latest seven UTC dates. For FDA, supply an exact FEI. Review the listing’s coverage before running.
